Neolith sculpture ”Polar Bear” shows an abstracted polar bear in neolith. By polishing the material excessively, the surface has become so smooth that it invites people to caress it, just like the fur of a real polar bear. The polar bear seems a gentle and good-natured animal, but at the same time it is very strong and powerful. Because of the melting of the Arctic Ice, unfortunately the polar bear has become a extinct breed, hence this ode to the polar bear.
